15-race maiden without success in seven starts on turf though the Pastoral Pursuits gelding has hit the frame on three occasions. May have to settle for a bit part once again.
Colt by Sepoy out of a Theatrical mare. Dam Listed winner on turf in Norway. Market likely to reveal expectations on debut for leading yard.
11-race maiden still looking for his first win on turf in four starts. First start for current connections since leaving the yard of Matthieu Palussiere in France. First-time blinkers unlikely to work their magic.
15-race maiden without a win in nine on turf. Running well in defeat in a number of starts since May. Likely to be thereabouts at the business end of proceedings and deserves a change in fortune.
24-race maiden on turf and not seen since finishing down the field at Fairyhouse in October 2017. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success. .
Inexplicably remains an 11-race maiden following a number of solid efforts since last month including gallant efforts at Sligo and Tipperary. Another in the line-up deserving a change of luck.
Daughter of Zoffany sent off at big prices on three career starts before running accordingly on each occasion. Unlikely to be making a significant impact in this contest.
Daughter of Exceed And Excel out of a Nayef mare. Dam dual winner on the AW over 1m. One to note in the betting on debut for leading trainer/jockey combination.
Filly by Zebedee failed to build on a promising debut when finishing down the field in a Naas 5f maiden last month. Will need to improve to play a significant role in this trial.
Forecasts

The Joseph O'Brien-trained, ROYAL COURT can get off the mark on turf at the 10th time of asking for connections following a number of near misses since May. The Zoffany gelding can hold off the attentions of the luckless Andrew Slattery-trained, Sunset Nova who can emerge as the biggest danger. Top weight, Al Batal and newcomer, Helen Of Albany can duel for remaining prize money.

- Sunset Nova
- Al Batal
