Nathaniel colt; half-brother to the useful stayer Dal Harraild; has won two of his three starts to date, including when making all (form rock-solid) on seasonal reappearance at Nottingham (1m+, good); rates as an exciting prospect; handicap debut.

11/4
Former French racer (Andre Fabre); has won both starts for David O'Meara over an extended mile around the buttonhook at Hamilton Park; 5lb higher, but with scope for further improvement over this trip (dam was a half-sister to a St. Leger winner).

Lola's Themep119
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-7| J: Jane Elliott(3)| T: Tom Dascombe| OR:  76| C
25/1
Both of her wins have come over 1m, including when springing an almighty surprise (100-1) at this track last September; eases in the weights after finishing last of seven at Chester (1m4f, soft) latest; cheekpieces are applied; a likely outsider.

Forecasts

Dal Horrisgle (1/1), Southern Rock (11/4), Mubariz (9/2), Albert Finney (6/1), Lola's Theme (25/1)

Verdict

Dal Horrisgle boasts the 'sexiest' overall profile and it's perfectly feasible that he can shoot straight through handicap company before tackling loftier engagements. Furthermore, his recent all the way Nottingham comeback win has plenty of substance with both the runner-up Loolwah (Thirsk) and the third Saffran (Chepstow) winning since. However, with a strong stamina influence in his pedigree we'll take a slight chance on the upped in trip SOUTHERN ROCK. He has already proved himself to be a very shrewd acquisition by David O'Meara, winning with plenty in hand on both GB starts at Hamilton Park (1m+).
  1. Southern Rock
  2. Dal Horrisgle
  3. Mubariz
