Still quite lightly raced after just the eight starts but hard to recommend after being safely held on each of his last three runs. Claims if recapturing the form which enabled him to finish fourth at this track in May.

Makes handicap debut after failing to land a serious blow in maiden/novice company. Could well improve upon recent showings off a fair enough mark and is foolish to dismiss, especially if betting is to speak in his favour.

Close second over C&D in April when just denied by a half-length. Not so good in five starts since then when only managing to finish in midfield in each of them. Definitely capable of stepping up on those efforts to go close in this contest though.

In the form of her life at present and only found the progressive Hillgrove Angel too good when runner-up a Hamilton (1m3f; good) last month. Broke maiden duck at Redcar (1m2f; good to firm) prior to that and could resume her progress.

In good form lately and not disgraced when fifth in a 16-runner affair at Leicester (1m4f; good). Does seem to prefer the AW but in a race where plenty can be ruled out with confidence, she is certainly not one of those.

Dropped into a seller last time and finished third at Wolverhampton (1m4f; standard). Would need to step up a fair bit on the bare form of that run. Effort before that when fifth in a Class 6 at Redcar (1m2f; good to firm) was not devoid of promise.

15-race maiden who has been desperately struggling for form recently and is generally regressive. Impossible to fancy off lowly mark and others are readily preferred.

Decent effort when fifth at Newcastle (1m4f; standard) on seasonal/stable debut. Dropped 2lb since then and with improvement expected from that run, he is a very interesting contender.

Needs to step up considerably on the bare form of her third at Catterick (1m4f; soft) in a lower grade contest than this last time. Struggling for form before that and others hold more obvious claims.

Went close over C&D on final start of 2018. Recent efforts leave quite a lot to be desired though and a major revival is required after he was tailed off at Ayr (1m7f; good) last time.

Verdict

A tricky looking contest to end proceedings with Melabi and Millie The Minx both very interesting contenders off the back of their most recent efforts. The former s narrowly preferred out of those two after only being narrowly denied at Carlisle last time, and if she is able to progress from that seasonal reappearance effort she would go close here. However, the in-form pairing of SOSIAN and Kodi Koh can battle this one out, with the Richard Fahey-trained runner given the necessary vote of confidence after notching an elusive first career success two starts back before bumping into the upwardly mobile Hillgrove Angel at Hamilton last time.
