Looked quite exciting when turning over an odds-on fav over C&D on debut. Up against when 12th in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot (5f; soft). This is more achievable and he could get back on track, although the penalty tempers enthusiasm.
Finished 10-length behind the subsequent Norfolk Stakes winner when fifth on debut at Ripon (5f; good to soft). This is easier but he would have to step up a bit to threaten the main protagonists on the bare form of his first career start.
Only newcomer in the field and ran terrifically to finish fourth on debut at Yarmouth (6f; good to firm) last Friday. That was quite a fair race and with the drop down to 5f a positive, he may take some stopping.
Mayson filly who is a full-sister to a couple of winners, and a half-sister to another couple of winners. Only newcomer in the field, and this is a tough assignment on debut. Shouldn't be completely discounted for top trainer though.
Handed an impossible task last time when finishing 17th in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot (5f; good to soft). Returns to a far more realistic level now and she is a huge player after an encouraging debut effort at Carlisle (5f; good to soft).

This is an interesting contest, with two of the runners dropping down to a more realistic level after having their sights raised at Royal Ascot, namely Bill Neigh and Ventura Flame. The former wasn't completely disgraced when contesting the Windsor Castle Stakes and could now start to fulfil the promise he showed when making a winning debut over C&D. The latter must also be respected as she had finished runner-up to an exciting type at Carlisle on debut. However, the one who appeals most is TIME FORCE who is turned out fairly quickly after running very well for a long way before finding the trip too far in what was a competitive affair at Yarmouth last week.
- Time Force
- Bill Neigh
- Ventura Flame
