Now just 1lb higher when winning under this rider at Goodwood last August, and although disappointing at Bath last time, he had excuses due to ground and a change of tactics. Expected to bounce back, and worth considering.
Showed promise in three starts back in 2017 culminating in a 5f fibresand win. Returned from a 522-day absence last month looking rusty, and no surprise to see him do better now.
Three-time course winner. Disappointed on first run back for former yard over 7f here last time, but went without his usual cheekpieces, and likely to do better with headgear refitted now.
Fairly treated on the form he showed last spring, but there have been longish gaps between his most recent runs, and he's failed to beat a rival the last twice. Best watched until showing signs of a revival.
Had slipped in the weights prior to getting his head back in front at Chelmsford last time, but had nothing to spare, and while he's only gone up 2lb for that, he's also back up in class, and others appear to have his measure at this level.
Landed a hat-trick of wins over 7f here earlier in the year. Below form since, but shaped much better last time, and returns to his favoured conditions just 1lb higher than for his last success.
Form is patchy, but she has shown improvement on her last two starts, making all to score by ¾L at Lingfield (5f) last time. Up in trip and class now, however, and needs to find further progress to be competitive.
Much his best effort in recent times came when runner-up over 6f here in March. Not built on that, though, and well held in visor and blinkers respectively on last two starts. Tried in a new headgear combination now.
Now 8lb lower than when placed at Lingfield (6f) a year ago, but little impact since, and well held on return in April. Off another 12 weeks since, and hard to recommend on balance.
Only success in 28 starts came over 7f for Clifford Lines at Lingfield in January. Not disgraced for new yard, and latest below-par run easy to forgive as he doesn't handle soft ground. Should do better, but remains vulnerable for win purposes.
A nine-time AW winner for this yard. Popped up again at Wolverhampton in February, but largely out of sorts since, and hard to recommend in current mood.

The recent winners all look opposable up in class, and the vote goes to GREY GALLEON, who is best forgiven a run under a change of tactics in ground too soft last time. He's back in the same class as for his Goodwood win last August, and has the same rider in the plate. Course winners Soar Above and Elusif have excuses for recent efforts, and are expected to be competitive.
