C&D winner in August last year, beating 14 rivals off a 16lb lower mark. Most recent success came at Navan last month. Has gone off the boil in recent efforts and this looks a tough ask off top weight.
All three career successes have come on the AW and the Approve filly is still looking for that first win on turf from 15 starts. Running well in defeat of late but always susceptible to one better handicapped.
Five-race maiden, the Shamardal gelding has been running well in defeat of late including at Gowran Park last month following a tardy start. Not easily dismissed.
Not disgraced in a couple of seasonal starts at Cork and the winner of one of his 19 Flats starts on turf can give another good account of himself here with returning hood expected to trigger an improved performance.
C&D winner of a Claimer at this meeting 12-months ago off a 10lb higher mark, when in the care of trainer Ado McGuinness. Disappointed on stable debut last month and appears vulnerable in this company.
Boasts solid form on the AW, winning two of her last four starts at Dundalk since November. Not seen on turf since finishing down the field at Tipperary in August and best watched here on stable debut.
Career best effort in eight starts came on her most recent start finishing third of 16 beaten 3¾L in a Gowran Park 1m handicap last month. Still looks in the grip of the handicapper.
Stingy return of one win from 32 Flat starts on turf for the gelding but the son of Exceed And Excel consistently hits the frame on occasions. Third of 14 beaten 2L on latest start at Limerick last month and holds leading claims.
Only turf win to date came three years ago in a Thirsk maiden auction over 6f when in the care of trainer George Margarson. Winner on the AW at Dundalk in November but has plenty to prove here.
Genuine type who has won two of his 28 Flat starts on turf. Gallant fifth of 16 beaten 6L on seasonal return at Leopardstown in April and comes here 2lb lower than last winning mark.
23-race maiden on turf, the Rock Of Gibraltar is usually seen on the AW at Dundalk. Needs a sizable improvement to mix it here.
Seven-race maiden on turf has shown little or no aptitude in six starts for this yard since a move from Willie McCreery to be considered in this contest.
Lightly raced maiden, well held in a number of starts on turf since April. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.
Has failed to hit the frame in seven Flats starts on turf. First-time tongue tie unlikely to trigger a major improvement.

The Exceed And Excel gelding, A LIKELY STORY can add a second win on turf here following a solid third of 14 beaten 2L at Limerick recently. The six-year-old can hold off the attentions of the Denis Hogan-trained, Zayriyan and recent Leopardstown runner-up, Highly Approved. In a wide open contest, Pari Passu and Texas Radio are worthy of further consideration.
