Twice a winner so far this calendar year (Thirsk and Goodwood); was always out the back in a Class 2 handicap at York (6f, good to firm) on Saturday; this is an easier option.

Back to winning ways at Carlisle (6f, good to firm) in May, and that form has been well advertised by the runner up since; a 3lb rise is far from punitive; holds every chance.

Hit a solid spell of form between late June and early September 2018 (3,1,1,2,5,1); it's possible that she can repeat those antics with the benefit of a recent run under her belt (over C&D); the much higher handicap mark is a thorny issue though.

Boasts C&D form figures of 2,1,4; 4lb higher than when knuckling down to his task to beat the subsequent winner Arletta Star by a neck over 7f at Carlisle (good to firm) in May.

Exploited a lenient mark when making all to beat Epeius by ¾L over C&D (good to firm) a fortnight ago; no real concerns about his 4lb higher mark; should go close in a slightly stronger contest.

Forecasts

Paddy Power (5/2), Howzer Black (5/2), Jordan Electrics (3/1), Firmdecisions (4/1), Yes You (12/1)

Verdict

Jordan Electrics made all when scoring over C&D a fortnight ago and merits an enormous amount of respect in a slightly stronger contest for the local handler Linda Perratt. However, a marginal preference is for the Nigel Tinkler-trained FIRMDECISIONS who has had a short break (43 days) since resuming winning ways at Carlisle in May. In the interim period that form has been franked by the runner up Proud Archi (in defeat to the consistent Shawaamekh at York).
