Dollys Destination14
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-4| J: C J Orr(5)| T: Gary McGill| OR:  113
4/9
Bumper winner who justified short odds on her third start to score over 2m at Hexham. Beaten twice since then in handicaps (bumped into an improver on debut in that sphere); gets a good opportunity back in novice company (best left-handed).

Cardy26
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: G Sheehan| T: H Whittington
8/1
Failed to complete in three point-to-points (placed on final try in that sphere) before switching to race under Rules. Ran to a fair level on bumper debut (well found in the market), appearing to know her task well; no surprise if she goes close.
3
Horse silk
Dorette20
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: Dave Crosse| T: O Murphy| D
9/1
Fortunate winner of a bumper on her debut (leader unseated close home). Failed to follow up before being switched to hurdles after a nine-month break. Looked in need of experience on debut (made novice type errors) behind short-priced winner.
4

Leannes Lady80
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-12| J: T J Phelan| T: A Berry
250/1
Little show in a number of varied events including two starts over hurdles; jumping poorly on both occasions. Hard to maintain that she has much ability; pulled up in a Wetherby selling hurdle when last seen; little appeal.

Mega Double36
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Callum Bewley| T: James Moffatt| OR:  104
16/1
Her two hurdles runs prior to her handicap debut over C&D had looked to lay the foundations for a decent hurdling career but she ran well below-par. Returns to novice company; not out of this but may prefer a slower surface/longer trip.

See The Sea47
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR:  105
7/2
Three-time Flat winner (modest form) for Richard Hannon and she has shown some aptitude for hurdles in a couple of starts so far. Second on both occasions, she ought to be able to win a weak mares' novice over the summer.
7
Horse silk
Tickerty Boo36
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-12| J: Miss Becky Smith(3)| T: J S Wainwright| OR:  98
25/1
Already building up a fair losing run over obstacles (0-7 over hurdles); never featured on her first run for this yard after leaving Brian Ellison in a C&D handicap. May win a weak handicap at some point but hard to see her winning a novice hurdle.
8
Horse silk
40/1
Looks the second string from this yard having shown only modest form in bumpers before undertaking a hurdles introduction last time. Finished well held (behind Dollys Destination); hard to see her reversing that form.
Modest Flat maiden when with Philip McBride at up to 1m2f and shown little for this yard on the level and also hurdles debut. Hooded for that outing (looked badly in need of experience); pulled up having made mistakes; very limited appeal.

Misu Bula7
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-9| J: Thomas Dowson| T: P A Kirby
100/1
Poor form in bumpers and hardly shown anything more when switched to hurdles for her last two starts, finished well held both outings. Still learning over hurdles and hard to see her getting involved here given the level she's shown so far.
Fair maiden on the Flat in Ireland at up to 1m4f although looked regressive towards end of 2018. She's offered very little in a maiden/novice hurdle finishing well held over C&D last time (beaten 34L); hard to fashion a case on the evidence so far.

Forecasts

Dollys Destination (4/9), See The Sea (7/2), Cardy (8/1), Dorette (9/1), Mega Double (16/1), Tickerty Boo (25/1), Artichoke Heart (40/1), She Got Fast (50/1), Misu Bula (100/1), Mandarin Princess (200/1), Leannes Lady (250/1)

Verdict

The handicap form shown recently by DOLLYS DESTINATION ought to be good enough to see her return to winning ways back in novice company with the opposition looking rather thin despite the double-figure field. See The Sea comes from a yard in rude health at the moment and she looks the main danger although Mega Double a flop on handicap debut should have a say in the argument. Both Dorette and Cardy are worthy of a mention the former needs to jump a little better than she did last time while the latter makes her hurdling debut having shown some promise in a bumper last time after a win op.
  1. Dollys Destination
  2. See The Sea
  3. Mega Double
