Overcame some misbehaviour in the pre-race preliminaries when making an impressive winning start at Nottingham (5f, good) earlier this month. That form has been boosted with the third winning since; the one to beat.
Poor third of 10 on debut at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) when the front two pulled clear of the field and missed the break. Yard were out of sorts at the time and are in flying form now (4-9 in 14 days) so must be considered.
Showed good improvement to finish third in 5f Carlisle maiden this month. Form of that race doesn't look great but hails from a yard who excel with progressive two-year-olds. Place claims at best.
Didn't progress from debut run when a never-threatening eighth of 13 in C&D maiden this month. Needs to show significant improvement from both runs to be competitive on novice debut.
Has a speedy pedigree and ran a pleasing race on first racecourse start when third in 6f Thirsk maiden (good to soft). Stable are in good form with their juveniles and excel at this track. Dangerous to ignore.
220,000 gns purchase as a two-year-old and is a son of a international champion sprinter out of an unraced dam. Holds an entry in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes and is highly regarded by trainer and connections. Interesting if there is market support.
Brazen Beau colt out of a Marju mare; cost £80,000 as a juvenile and is a half-brother to winners over 5f and 6f. Yard haven't been in the greatest form over the last two weeks but merits a betting check.

Al Aakif (11/8), Plymouth Rock (7/2), Clareyblue (4/1), Imperial Command (7/1), Good Night Mr Tom (8/1), Mischief Star (9/1), Treble Treble (14/1), International Lion (25/1)
In what looks to be a hot juvenile novice contest, the preference AL AAKIF sets the standard on form when registering a taking performance in a strong-looking maiden on his debut and is the one to beat if he can behave in the pre-race preliminaries. Mischief Star and Imperial Command posses the form to improve from their debuts and should be competing for minor honours, while Plymouth Rock could be an interesting outsider based on his pedigree and powerful owners.
