300,000 gns half-brother to Swiss Spirit made belated debut last August finishing a remote seventh of eight. Plenty to prove now and no surprise Crowley prefers Nazeef.
Gelded son of Mayson finished tailed off and failed to beat a single rival home in both starts last year for Anthony Carson. Best watched on stable and season reappearance.
Finished second for the third time in four starts at Haydock latest behind a previous winner and long odds-on Juddmonte horse. Rated 82 now and surely capable of winning a race such as this eventually.
Stayed on nicely for third behind stablemate Nonchalance here in a C&D novice three weeks ago. More to come now for the champion trainer and has leading claims.
Forecasts
Nazeef (4/6), Lyndon B (2/1), Critical Time (13/2), Ghalyoon (20/1), Threefeetfromgold (66/1), Exning Queen (100/1), Ketts Hill (100/1)
Three of these stand well above the rest with preference for John Gosden's NAZEEF who ran really well behind a more fancied stablemate on debut over C&D earlier this month. Lyndon B probably just about sets the form standard but after four starts isn't as open to improvement as the selection. it would be no surprise should Critical Time make a bold bid also given she is trained by William Haggas and ridden by Ryan Moore.
