Twice beaten favourite last season but was far from disgraced in either efforts over 1m4f. Entitled to improve but he will need to in order to get competitive.

Has had two disappointing runs in both bumper outings and despite being very well-bred and an expensive purchase as a yearling ($100,00) does not hold much of a realistic chance.

Has finished last on both racecourse appearances this season beaten a total of 120 lengths. Very unlikely to be good enough.

Had impressed on his debut when second behind future Listed winner UAE Jewel at Newmarket in April but went down when long odds-on in a maiden at Hamilton next time out. Too soon to write him off and may appreciate step up in trip.

Well beaten (30 lengths) on his only racecourse appearance at Chelmsford earlier this month. Expected to improve but will still probably not be good enough.
Not spectacularly bred (best relation was placed in a Listed contest over a mile). Trainer does well at this track and is in good form so a check on the market is advised for this son of So You Think.

Arch filly is a half-sister to three winners, including useful 1m2f winner Erhaaf and 1m3f winner Ruzeiz.. No show on his debut run (quietly backed) at Chelmsford three weeks ago and entitled to improve. Interesting.

The clear form pick based on good efforts at Nottingham and Kempton last season and more importantly an excellent run at Sandown on her seasonal reappearance. First run for stable and may be hard to beat.

Forecasts

Scentasia (5/4), Al Hadeer (7/4), Gifts Of Gold (11/4), So Strictly (14/1), Hindaam (16/1), Ned Pepper (50/1), Soldier Of War (50/1), Aleatoric (150/1)

Verdict

Connections of SCENTASIA will be very disappointed if their Cape Cross filly can't get off the mark at the fourth time of asking given the quality of opposition. A reproduction of her latest effort at Sandown will see her being very hard to beat. Al Hadeer can be given another chance after struggling when long odds-on at Hamilton recently. If he can put that run behind him he will give the favourite most to do. Godolphin's Gifts Of Gold has done little wrong in his defeats but needs to improve drastically to play a leading role.
  1. Scentasia
  2. Gifts Of Gold
  3. Al Hadeer
