134-rated three-time hurdle winner raced enthusiastically and was hugely impressive on chase debut at Worcester (2m4f) where he won by 10L. Carries a 6lb penalty for that and this an above average race for time of year but the one to beat.
132-rated three time hurdle winner off almost three years until winning a point-to-point this year. Held in two subsequent points and how much ability truly remains is a matter this will settle.
Gained a hurdles mark of 132 after winning a 3m Haydock Taunton in February. Race-fit having been running on the flat since but now goes over fences for the first time and over this distance he may find things happening quickly enough.
Well placed to win five of his 11 hurdle starts culminating in a rating of 139. Had a break since not lasting 3m in October but few yards better at readying one after a layoff than this so fully expectant of a bold bid on chase debut.
Son of Robin Des Pres bought for £7,000 after winning two of eight point-to-points (two of last three). This looks a tough place to start out under rules.
AW flat winner won three of her nine races over hurdles but rating of 118 suggests she may find life tough here on chasing bow even with the 7lb mares allowance.
140-rated four-time hurdles scorer who clearly appreciates a sound surface returns from a seven month absence here for her chasing debut. As the best hurdler receiving 7lb as a mare she has a genuine chance if jumping well.

Potterman (1/1), Litterale Ci (9/4), No Hassle Hoff (3/1), Notnow Seamus (6/1), Le Musee (10/1), Included (11/1), Knight Bachelor (20/1), Robin Of Sherwood (33/1)
There is just 8lb between six of these over hurdles so in theory at least this will be ultra competitive. Alan King's POTTERMAN gets the vote however despite giving weight away to higher rated rivals over hurdles because his chase debut at Worcester couldn't have seen him much more impressive; he seemed to relish every fence. Twice-placed chaser No Hassle Hoff will surely get off the mark over the larger obstacles soon. Of the chase newcomers Litterale Ci looks the one weighted to be the biggest danger.
