Scored here over 6f (heavy) on debut last September, and less than 4L fifth in an Ayr Group 3 next time, before winning in this grade at Redcar (good) when last seen in October. Needs to kick on again, but proven when fresh and should be involved.

Seeking a hat-trick after winning a Beverley maiden (7½f, good to soft) and a class 4 Haydock handicap (7f, heavy) last time. Taken out on ground described as good to soft at the weekend. Improvement needed.

Scored at Fairyhouse on debut (6f, good) this time last year and beaten just 1L at Group 3 level at the Curragh next time. Third and fourth in Listed races this season, but this looked her trip last time and she looks a big player.

Won her first two starts last year, and again ran well to start this season when placed at Pontefract, Newmarket and Chelmsford. Off the boil since then, however, which does not augur well.

Dual winner as a juvenile on good to firm/good to soft. Well held on reappearance when tried over this trip at Newmarket. Not disgraced twice since then at this level, but more needed.

Triple winner over 7f last season, including on good. 1½L fourth in a French Listed contest on her reappearance this season, but not easy to fancy on what we have seen since.

Scored at Goodwood (6f, soft) on debut last year, and came closest to adding to that when ½L second at Chelmsford (7f, AW) last time. However, needs improvement for cheekpieces to figure at this level.

Improving filly who arrives seeking a hat-trick after successes at both Goodwood and Chelmsford over 7f. Appeared to have a bit in hand on handicap debut last time, and looks very interesting now stepped up in grade.

Landed a Newmarket maiden (7f, good to firm) last September, before being 1L third in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket. Not yet close to that form this season, but better than most of these.

Consistent in three starts to date, producing her best one yet when scoring at Salisbury (7f, soft) last time. Won that comfortably, and has scope for more now upped in grade. Interesting.

Dual winner at the Curragh including last time out (1m, good to firm) in handicap company. Ran second in a Group 3 last year, and now back in form she can make an impact here.

Forecasts

Viadera (15/8), Tapisserie (5/1), Neon Sea (13/2), Sunday Star (7/1), Astrologer (8/1), Modern Millie (10/1), Cava (12/1), Impulsion (14/1), Summer Daydream (20/1), Chapelli (25/1), Come On Leicester (33/1), Concello (40/1)

Verdict

Although no favourite has won this for the last four seasons, it usually pays to look towards the head of the market and the suggestion is NEON SEA, who won cosily last time and can make a successful step up in grade. Tapisserie does the same and is also of interest, while Viadera, Sunday Star, Cava and Summer Daydream are others for whom cases can be made.
  1. Neon Sea
  2. Cava
  3. Tapisserie
