Decent recent effort over fences at Stratford followed an encouraging hurdles seasonal reappearance run at Exeter. Enjoys this track but does not look particularly well handicapped at present.
Has put in three very creditable efforts this season at Ludlow, Kempton and Warwick. Proved he stayed this trip last time and should run a big race if enjoying racing at this venue.
Effective over hurdles and fences and generally a consistent sort. First attempt over hurdles for nearly a year but a game sort who should give his best effort on a racetrack he enjoys.
Has done most of his racing on a soft surface so connections will be hoping for the expected showers to materialise. Has been off the track a long time (424 days) so probably best watched on this occasion.
Fairly consistent mare who won a same sex contest last time out at Worcester. Came from behind to win that day but she may find it harder here on a track that favours front-runners but still one for the shortlist.
Has failed to complete a race since winning at Taunton in February. Aside from her recent completion rate, she does not look particularly well handicapped at present. Best watched in current mood.
Has been running some fair races over fences since his last hurdles appearance in December winning twice at Wincanton. Has some fair hurdles form in the past including winning over course and distance. Interesting contender.
Has had just the one run in the UK when not beaten too far at Bangor earlier this month. Previous Irish form was patchy but he should come on for that first outing and one to consider if market speaks in his favour.
Much better chaser these day; ran well enough on his last racecourse appearance at Exeter finishing fourth but beaten a long way. Will certainly stay the trip and could take advantage if some of his rivals run below par.
Had a purple patch last summer winning over this course and distance and placed twice in two subsequent runs. Has been off the boil of late (well beaten last four starts). Only hope is the return to this track perks her up.
Was in much better form last season when with Richard Fahey winning at Perth before running some great efforts in defeat. Below par in his last five appearances. Best effort was last time out but more needed stepping up in trip.
Great effort last time out at Worcester finishing third not beaten far (2m7f). A repeat of that effort would make her hard to beat with only this step up in trip being an unknown.

Glanvilles Guest (5/2), Fontley House (9/2), Prophets Prayer (6/1), Eddy (13/2), Calin Du Brizais (8/1), Gamain (9/1), Western Sunrise (10/1), Judge Earle (12/1), Mr Mafia (12/1), Goodnitesweetheart (14/1), Bertie Boru (16/1), Write It Down (20/1), Midnight Request (40/1)
A tricky race to end the meeting with a tentative nod going to FONTLEY HOUSE who deserves to be rewarded for some good recent efforts in defeat. Tough mare Gamain looks interesting returning to the smaller obstacles and has some good course and distance form in the past. Eddy may reward each-way backers at a decent price while any market moves for Write It Down would be interesting.
