Lightly-raced on turf (multiple AW scorer; 9-64) who may find this trip a little on the short side (has win over it in the past). Will find conditions very different to his last turf run (1m, heavy); hard to know what to expect from him.
Took a low-grade AW affair back in April having threatened to do so before that; run with credit since although didn't look the heartiest in battle on his penultimate start. Paid for trying to match leader/eventual winner last time; worthy player.
Had shown some mild promise before failing to build on that start last time when racing too freely. Both those starts were on the AW (not run on turf since he had wind surgery). Hardly the most solid candidate; first run for new yard.
Looked to show some form on her stable debut last time out and this will only be her fourth run/handicap debut. That form did come in a weak affair though so it can't be totally trusted and it's likely she'll need to show more to be of interest.
Excuses can be made for his last start over C&D (wide draw/awkward start) and he has won a similar event here over this trip at the end of last season (4lb higher now). Needs to step forward on what he's shown this year but not ruled out.
Modest sort in sprints handicaps who has shown her best form at Bath; ran second there last time (had no chance with an easy winner). Would have a chance if repeating that run off this basement mark having won off higher in the past.
The losing run is starting to get to rather desperate proportions now although he did manage a creditable third last time over 5f after an awkward start. No guarantee he'll repeat that performance with his overall record.
Unreliable type with an unenviable CV of 0-16; refused to race in a basement grade handicap last time at Kempton. On that basis not one who would enter calculations.
Four runs so far on her record with none of them showing much promise including last time out over C&D (first run for 10 months; first-time cheekpieces). Hard to recommend even in this low-grade affair.
Form can't be described as anymore than modest (has been tried in headgear); beat only one home when 100-1 over 5f here last time. 0-16 overall and makes little appeal as a betting proposition.
Yet to show much in the way of form but with a good yard that may well be able to make use of a basement mark. Not beaten far in a couple of AW nursery starts at the backend of last year; worth paying attention to positive market vibes.
Fair effort in the context of this race in a Leicester seller when a 50-1 chance last time out (beaten just over 6L). Would need to improve on that run to take a hand here but it's far from the worst piece of form on offer.
Hard to find much in the way of potential in his three novice starts so far finishing well held on all of them and hopes pinned on handicaps bringing some progress. Needs a massive step forward to take a hand though even in this basement contest.

Most of these don’t really excite with poor form and long losing runs the norm rather than any solid form. Pearl Spectre could be given a shout on his best AW form but he’s yet to win on turf and may find this 6f too sharp. Olaudah has shown some of the better form and will have a chance if she doesn’t get involved in another pace duel as she did last time. Cool Strutter and Toolatetodelegate both have claims having at least shown some winning form with the latter coming here of a sound outing at Bath last time. In a race that won’t take much winning a chance is taken with CLIPSHAM TIGER who may be able to make use of this basement mark with a winter under her belt.
