Remains with one convincing chase effort to his name but two pulled up efforts (the most recent last time out) leave him with questions to answer. Apparently lost his action when last seen; has won off this mark over hurdles, best watched for now.
Found his resurgent run of form this spring (won three chases) coming to a grinding halt last time (race coming too soon). Now back from a short break but over a trip that looks sure to test his stamina with the handicapper not relenting.
Confirmed the promise of his reappearance/stable debut when winning his third race from his last four starts at Warwick last time (first success away from Worcester). Chase debut now off a 7lb higher mark; stays well, chance if he jumps well.
Cheekpieces now tried on this winning pointer who has two hurdles wins to his name before returning to fences last time. That proves to be useful form although he remains high enough in the weights (jumping could do with brushing up also).
Was thriving when recording a hurdles win here (2m4f) but it's been downhill for the most part since then in races over a mixture of hurdles/fences. Ran no sort of race over fences last time (first-time cheekpieces); jumped with no fluency at all.
Useful sort over hurdles (closely weighted with The Drone on their hurdles form here) he wasn't given an ideal scenario on his chasing debut (trip inadequate; 2m4f). Now given a proper test he's expected to show more this time around.
A mixed bag from his chasing starts so far; has shown some aptitude for the sphere despite being pulled up the last twice. Failed to see out the 2m5f trip at Market Rasen last time and likely to find this 3m too much of a test.
Only his fourth run for this yard which have a good record of turning types like this around but his previous chasing exploits were unconvincing when with Henry Daly. Second run back from a wind op but hard to build a persuasive case for him.
Certainly consistent over fences having finished second on all bar one of his starts in this sphere (nothing wrong with his attitude). Still a long-term maiden though with this grade likely to test him from out of the weights; place chance at best.

The Jam Man (9/4), The Drone (4/1), Atomic Rumble (9/2), Goodthyneaway (5/1), Ratfacemcdougall (5/1), Scartare (9/1), Three Colours Red (10/1), Real Warrior (12/1), Will O'The West (14/1), Potters Story (16/1)
Quite a mixed bag with the some of the field either returning to fences or facing this sort of test for the first time. ATOMIC RUMBLE doesn’t really fit into either category but his hurdles form has shown him capable off this mark and he’ll be much more at home given this sort of test. He has to reverse his previous hurdles defeat by The Drone who returns to fences attempting to complete a course hat-trick; he will provide good opposition. Three Colours Red is another hurdler who has been in winning form and he switches to fences of what looks a workable mark. Scartare and Ratfacemcdougall are two others to consider.
- Atomic Rumble
- The Drone
- Three Colours Red
