Back to winning ways last time at Chepstow having scored on his seasonal debut on the AW (excuses for the three defeats in the interim). Cheekpieces worn for the first-time last time out are retained; up 5lb but still of interest at this level.
Up in trip and ridden more positively than before when making his debut for this yard over 1m6f here last time. Finished well beaten and yet to win a race he'll need to improve to win a race despite the ease in the weights.
Slipped down the handicap last year without really looking as though she would take advantage over a variety of trips on the AW. Switched to turf last time after a break in a better grade than this (0-65); shaped well enough but more needed.
C&D winner who now wears cheekpieces for the first time with his losing run starting to mount and comes here off the back of a poor run last time. Despite his previous form here he's hard to make a case for even dropping in grade.
Reportedly had a breathing problem when running poorly last time which doesn't augur well considering he's had a wind op recently. Given a big chance by the handicapper but only 1-30 overall and comes with risks considering his last start.
Quirky sort who took advantage of a fall in the weights last time when scoring at Salisbury (1m4f, soft); one of his better days. Given his past profile he's far from certain to repeat that performance despite the easier grade.
Just the second run for this yard last time but got off the mark over C&D (narrowly defeating Mistress Nellie) having been the better positioned of the duo. Should be little between the pair again at the weights this time around.
Course winner who is starting to look regressive and unreliable running very poorly last time returning from a break over this trip at Chepstow (amateur riders). Blinkers now return but even in this modest grade his appeal is limited.
Only one win from 24 Flat runs tells a story of its own although he was well-backed last time when running a sound race back on turf. The only one to provide a challenge to an easy winner (pulled well clear of remainder); shortlist material.
Only just touched off over C&D last time when Champ Inblue got first run on her and it should be close between that pair again. Nothing wrong with her attitude despite finding one too good for the third race in a row; in the mix again.
Far from the form shown by his namesake this year when well held on his return to action after a wind op over 1m2f at Chepstow. Yet to win a race though and looks modest enough overall even in a low-grade contest like this.

Mistress Nellie (11/4), Kingfast (3/1), Champs Inblue (5/1), Peace Prevails (7/1), Tilsworth Lukey (7/1), Muraaqeb (7/1), Iballisticvin (8/1), Loving Your Work (14/1), Boycie (20/1), Guardiola (25/1), Widnes (25/1), Bay Dude (33/1)
The consistent Mistress Nellie is good enough to win a race like this and ridden with a little more positivity this time around may well be able to reverse the form with Champs Inblue who defeated her last time out having had the run of the race; both should run their race. KINGFAST impressed with his win at Chepstow last time in a better grade than this beating some consistent types and he’s taken to follow up that victory despite a 5lb rise in the weights. Tilsworth Lukey is hardly a winning machine but should be considered along with Muraaqeb despite that one failing to sparkle on turf as yet.
- Kingfast
- Mistress Nellie
- Champs Inblue
