Progressing run-to-run and would have finished closer with a clear run last time (kept on well at the death over 1m). Now upped in trip for her handicap debut off a mark that doesn't look too taxing; should improve further in this sphere.
Caught the eye on her first run for this yard having won her last two starts for Ed Dunlop over 1m as a juvenile. Better than bare result (caught in a pocket when the race was developing); finished well, remains with potential off the same mark.
Failed to match her juvenile form on her first run in this age group (may well have needed the run) at Wolverhampton after seven months off. Now makes her handicap debut (from a stable that does well with fillies); may well improve in this sphere.
Course winner over 6f last year she confirmed the promise of her earlier runs this year when winning at Ripon off a 4lb lower mark over this trip. Outclassed at a higher-level last time; will be far more comfortable back in this company.
Well below-par last time on her seasonal return both hooded and trying this trip for the first time at Nottingham. Remains unproved over this trip and needs some clemency from the handicapper before she's of interest in this sphere.
Showed further potential on her AW debut last time stepped up to this trip with more to come now that she makes the move into handicaps. Has already shown that she acts on turf and with some give; holds plenty of interest at this level.
One of five handicap newcomers in this she may not quite have the potential of some of the others from that group. This will be her turf debut up in trip off the back of a fair absence (bred to be suited by this trip); may need this outing.
Looks to have work to do on her handicap debut based on what she has shown so far her best effort coming on her only run/debut last year. Has failed to progress since then; well below form last time on the AW over this trip.
Improved last time out on her first run since leaving James Tate making her turf debut over this trip at Doncaster. Conditions will be a little more testing this time though and may prove vulnerable with some unexposed types lurking in this.
Starting to look exposed but did show better form last time in this headgear combination for the first time (also initial run in testing conditions). Looked to stay this trip well; this is more competitive, not sure to be able to repeat performance.
Would need to stage a revival to take a hand in this with one standout effort to her name (final start as a juvenile). Failed to match that level of form in two handicap starts recently; tongue-tie plus a step up in trip need to produce more.
Forecasts
Hallalulu (7/4), Specialise (3/1), Moll Davis (5/1), Colony Queen (10/1), Patchouli (10/1), Innocent (11/1), Bolt N Brown (12/1), Parish Poet (16/1), Give Me Breath (20/1), Guroor (33/1), The Meter (50/1)
Quite a nice group of fillies with some potential improvers amongst the handicap newcomers with Specialise who would have gone close with a clear run last time and Moll Davis along with Innocent all capable of winning at this level. HALLALULU appears to have the strongest claims though having finished off her time with Ed Dunlop with a couple of wins and she would have gone close to making a winning start for William Haggas had she been granted a clearer passage at Sandown, she can make amends here. Patchouli is another who adds depth to this interesting opener to the card.
- Hallalulu
- Specialise
- Innocent
