16-1 on debut, when beaten less than 6L into third at Windsor (1m2f, soft; first-time tongue-tie) recently. Can build on that promise here and should also improve for the step up in trip, but it won't be easy successfully conceding weight.
Has disappointed so far in finishing a held fourth on both starts, despite going off at 100-30 and more recently at 5-4 favourite in a Salisbury maiden. Could be ability there, but has a bit to prove.
Another who has yet to perform as the market has suggested, but there has been enough in his third-placed runs at both Ascot (1m4f, soft) and Haydock (1m4f, heavy) to suggest that he could be tough to beat if the blinkers help.
Forecasts
Space Walk (6/5), Swift Wing (6/5), Paths Of Glory (6/1), Gabriel Oak (14/1), Piccolo Ramoscello (66/1)
SWIFT WING has not yet lived up to market expectations, but he has shown enough to think he can win this, provided first-time blinkers provide the necessary assistance. Paths Of Glory could prove to be his main danger, with Space Walk next best.
