Former pointer who is unbeaten in three starts over fences (under rules); generally a sound jumper and displayed a game and willing attitude to edge out Psychedelic Rock at Worcester (2m4f, good) four weeks ago; 4lb higher.
Versatile; continues in a rich vein of form (11221) having risen a combined total of 17lb in the weights since winning over hurdles at Ffos Las (2m4f, soft) in April; 1¾L stronger than Master Dancer at the Welsh venue latest; back chasing.
Hasn't always delivered the goods in recent years but there was no knocking his application on his penultimate start at Wincanton (2m4f, good); 4lb higher; it's worth overlooking his more recent Cartmel defeat (track doesn't suit all horses).
Keen racer, and a fluent fencer (3-8); posted a career best when landing a Class 4 handicap at Fontwell (2m5½f, good) just over a fortnight ago; more required from a 5lb higher mark, but clearly has an excellent rapport with Richard Patrick.
Can blow hot and cold, but arrives off the back of a fairly emphatic Class 3 course win (2m3f, good); 5lb higher in the weights, but with a career course record of 22111, this race rates as a logical next step; chance.
Course maiden hurdle winner for Jonjo O'Neill (April 2017); joined this trainer for £17,000 in January; off the mark at the second attempt when jumping well and making all in a small-field affair at Kelso (2m7f, good); 3lb higher.
Veteran of 68 races (15 wins). However, he lacks experience over fences (0-3), unbelievably only making his chasing debut at Carlisle in March; 2lb lower than when an 11L runner up to Barton Knoll at Haydock (2m3f, good) last month.
Formerly based in Ireland with Willie Mullins (sold for £21,000 last October); has blossomed over fences for this trainer (2-2) winning back-to-back races at Bangor (2m4f-3m); 6lb higher than when seeing off Old Pride by ½L.
2lb lower than when winning over 3m here (good) for Tom George in May 2018; kicks off life for Henry Oliver off a 160 day absence; it's difficult to imagine that he'll be competitive against this level of opposition; other days.

Forecasts
Darcy Ward (3/1), Agamemmon (3/1), Bandsman (5/1), Champagne At Tara (13/2), Not A Role Model (7/1), Steel Wave (8/1), Cake de L'Isle (9/1), Poker School (11/1), Dieg Man (12/1), Gone Platinum (16/1), Zaliapour (16/1)
A trial for the feature race of the summer at this ever-popular Lincolnshire venue which predictably appears wide open and features a number of fast improving chasers. Steel Wave (2-2 over fences) for Gary Hanmer and the blossoming Darcy Ward (3-3 over fences under rules) are feared, while the keen racing fluent fencer Not A Role Model has built up an excellent rapport with the talented 3lb claimer Richard Patrick. The 10yo's Champagne at Tara and Gone Platinum lack scope for improvement but undoubtedly have the ability. However, in an open race we'll chance the stamina of BANDSMAN for Team Skelton with a Market Rasen career record of 2,2,1,1,1.
- Bandsman
- Darcy Ward
- Not A Role Model
