Horse A-Z
By Gamut out of a Grand Lodge mare. half-brother to smart bumper winner Captain Barbossa. Not disgraced on debut, finishing sixth of 10 beaten 30L here over 2m4f last month. Liable to find a couple stronger.
Gelding by Flemensfirth out of a Supreme Leader mare. Not sold at the Aintree April sales this year. Promising second of nine beaten 10L at Listowel earlier this month. Entitled to improve on that run here.
By Kalanisi out of a Shernazar mare. Dam Flat and bumper winner, out of half-sister to Grand National winner Don't Push It. Well down the pack on debut in a Punchestown bumper last month.
By Watar out of a Luso mare. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner Fridaythorpe. Last of eight in a desolate debut over 2m3f at Cork when last seen in April. Hard to place any faith in.
Gelding by Vertical Speed out of a Castle Keep mare. Half-brother to bumper/2m2f hurdle winner Schindler's Pearl and bumper winner Oiche Maith. In rear throughout when never a factor on debut at Listowel earlier this month finishing last of nine.
Arakan gelding out of a Tiger Hill mare. Dam unraced half-sister to 2m - 2m3f hurdle and 2m - 2m5f chase winner Mamlook, winner of the Chester Cup over 2m2½f. One of the more intriguing contenders.
Failed to build on a promising second of 14 at Tipperary in October when making no impression in a 2m maiden hurdle at Naas when last seen in December. Likely to appreciate to run on return to action.
Gelding by Imperial Monarch out of a Good Thyne mare. Half-brother to hurdler/chaser, Macs Flamingo and decent hurdler, Parish Business. Best watched on debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise.
Gelding by Scorpion out of a Presenting mare. Cost €6,500 as a three-year-old. Dam unraced sister to decent chaser A Good Skin and half-sister to Champion bumper winner, Cousin Vinny. Likely to be popular in the betting.
Daughter of Mahler out of a Flemensfirth mare. Half-sister to modest hurdler The Conker Club who developed in to a decent chaser. Wears a hood on debut and best avoided.

Shantou mare. Dam unraced sister to 2m-2m4f hurdle winner Cashel Dancer, half-sister to 1m2f Listed winner Dance Partner. Pulled up when weakening over 6f out on debut in a Punchestown 2m bumper last month.
Daughter of Presenting out of a Kayf Tara mare. Lost little in defeat when finishing a promising fifth of 18 beaten 8L on debut in a Cork bumper last month. Could be of interest on second start.
Daughter of Shirocco out of a Oscar Schindler mare. Dam was a winner over fences and hurdles from 2m to 2m4f. Beaten 30L on debut finishing 13th of 18 at Cork last month.

Verdict

Flemensfirth gelding, ROBADDAN laid down a solid marker for his future runs when catching the eye in a Listowel 2m4f bumper earlier this month. The Declan Queally-trained five-year-old can land the closing race of the day with Kerrymaygold emerging as the biggest danger on debut. Conquering Tara can improve on her debut run at Cork last month, while newcomers, Imperial Flash and Capall Iarann require a check in the market.
