128-rated chaser in a successful summer jumping campaign last year. Possibly needed the run on return to hurdling when finishing ninth of 11 beaten 14L last month. The return of leading jockey a positive.
Winner of two of his 12 starts over hurdles, the latest of which came in a Downpatrick handicap hurdle in August running off a 9lb lower mark. Beaten on a couple of occasions since and needs to up his game here.
C&D winner, last hurdle success came in a Limerick handicap over a similar trip off the same winning mark as today. Others more appealing on the evidence of runs in December and last month at Tipperary.
Without a win in 11 starts over timber but the Fast Company gelding has hit the same when running well in defeat on five occasions. Needs a couple to falter.
Bounced back to form when finishing second of 11 beaten ½L in a Tramore handicap hurdle last month. Capable of another bold run if in the mood.
Return to form came in the shape of a facile 7L victory in a Downpatrick novice hurdle on Sunday running over 2m1½f. Life more difficult under a penalty but very much a leading player once again.
C&D win came last July off a 1lb higher mark. Will have disappointed connections in a number of below par efforts since and poor form looks destined to continue.
Off the mark for connections at the ninth time of asking in a Clonmel handicap hurdle in February off a 5lb lower mark. Step up in trip didn't appear to suit on latest start at Downpatrick last month and must be considered back at this distance.
C&D winner of a September handicap in 2017 off a 4lb lower mark. Daughter of Yeats has been seen more recently over the larger obstacles without success. May be of interest in the market switching back to hurdling.
Course winner that has also won over the trip, but remains a nine race maiden over timber. Possibly needed the run on return to action at Clonmel last month and holds place claims on best form.
Robin Des Pres gelding who has struggled off a new mark since winning at Clonmel in November. Slipping in the weights but still opposable.
Winner of six of his 33 starts over hurdles, hitting the frame on a further couple of occasions. Has been seen to struggle in his most recent starts including a 31L reversal at Clonmel on seasonal debut earlier this month. Others look more suitable.
Eight-race maiden who failed to build on a career best efforts at Naas in February by producing a couple of poor performances at Limerick and Kilbeggan since. Not in the form required to play a part.
Has failed to trouble the judge in a number of poor efforts since joining current connections from the Mick Halford yard. Worth a check in the market as improvement would come as no surprise on handicap debut.

The leading trainer/jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell can take the prize here with SONG OF NAMIBIA in a wide open contest. The Cape Cross gelding won at Downpatrick earlier this month by a facile 7L and can continue her progress over hurdles in this contest. The J P McManus-owned, Buttons And Bows can battle for a place following a solid run at Tramore last month, along with the Paul Nolan-trained, Miss Sassie capable of improving on her run at Limerick last month. Reine Fee and Cloak Of Darkness are worthy of consideration as post time approaches.
