Won well at Cartmel last month and went close to justifying strong support in his follow up bid at Fontwell earlier this month. Up another 2lb but is much better form than the last time he raced here. Shortlisted.
Made all to win over hurdles at Stratford last week and proved he stays well. Is also effective over fences and is well handicapped on the pick of his past form. Well worth bearing in mind.
Well handicapped in comparison to his best hurdles form and showed a liking for this aspect of the game when making a winning start over fences at Fakenham at the start of this month. 5lb higher but may be more to come.
Expensive favourite on his final start for Tim Easterby but is very well handicapped on the pick of his past form; soft ground suits and certainly merits a betting check on debut his new yard. The betting can guide.
Won over an extended 2m6f here on his final start for Jeremy Scott at last month's meeting and is holding his form well. An 8lb higher mark is a worry on debut for his new trainer.
Sole win came over 3m (good ground at Warwick in April) but is 11lb higher and more to do in this stiffer grade. Respected but no easy task on these terms.

Forecasts
Very First Time (7/4), Sporting Boy (3/1), Max Do Brazil (6/1), Sackett (6/1), Danseur Du Large (6/1), River Of Intrigue (7/1), Day Of Roses (14/1)
There isn't much to split Sackett and Sporting Boy and both merit consideration in a race which is likely to be run in conditions which suit both horses. However, MAX DO BRAZIL is open to more improvement over fences and, given he's well handicapped in comparison to his hurdles rating, he just edges the vote as the first one to follow in the betting. Very First Time is also worth considering but he does need to have been freshened up by his recent switch to a new yard.
- Max Do Brazil
- Sackett
- Sporting Boy
