Shown very little to date and big improvement required; not hard to overlook despite making his debut for such a high profile yard.

Ran well over C&D on his penultimate start and has decent claims if able to repeat the effort this evening. Needs to better his latest start by some way but this is a very weak race and his rider's 7lb claim can assist.
Best effort to date when fourth of fourteen at Sligo in April; was still well beaten on the day and didn't make much progress last time out. More now required.

Left Noel Meade after a string of modest efforts and was beaten 39l on debut for his new yard; flattered by finishing fourth on the day. Blinkers need to prompt a dramatic improvement.
Has some ability and worth a try over this trip after failing to see out his races over further; has been well beaten in all previous starts though and not one for maximum faith.

Shown snippets of form (best effort when fourth of fourteen on heavy ground at Limerick in March); back over hurdles after two poor efforts in chases. Yet another with a bit to prove.

Well held in both starts since returning from a break and debatable as to whether this drop in trip will suit at this stage; the jockey knows him well but the partnership is already 0-5 and needs a lot to go in their favour.

Last year's form was modest at best; little sign of improvement on seasonal bow at Tramore at the start of this month and the gelding looks an unlikely winner on this occasion.

Pedigree is a mix of speed and stamina but there's been little to get enthusiastic about in three previous starts. Possible the tongue tie will help but the gelding made little impression here last time out. The drop in trip might help.

Finished behind Everlastingpromise over C&D on debut in April and didn't make any impression in either start since. Not hard to leave out of the betting plans.

Two poor runs before unseating at the first flight last time out; hard to recommend on the evidence available.

14/1
Unexposed after just two starts over hurdles but showed that she'd learned plenty from her debut when keeping on to finish fourth of 14 at Tramore last month. Solid place claims if able to better that effort in what looks a weaker race.

Verdict

A modest way to start the card and EVERLASTINGPROMISE is a far from confident selection to lead home this most bunch. The selection has valuable C&D experience and, given that his rider can claim 7lb, the gelding looks worth a small investment in race full of pitfalls. Future Monarch and Miami Beach represent powerful connections and merit a betting check, while Little Lady Lu comes into this on the back of a reasonable display at Tramore and could be good value to make the frame.
