Signs of a possible return to form when fifth over 6f at Haydock (heavy) earlier this month. Interesting to see how he fares stepping up in trip.
Placed on last twice starts including when a neck second over this trip at Ayr (good-to-firm) last time out. Notable runner racing off the same mark.
Finished sixth on both starts since joining this stable and drops in trip following a 3¾L defeat over 1m2f at Newcastle earlier this month.
Five race maiden has finished well held in both starts in handicap company so far. Probably best watched having weakened over this C&D last time out.
Good second over this trip at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) early last month. Held in two subsequent starts however and needs to return to form.
Handicap mark is falling following some heavy defeats this season and he finds himself racing off a mark 3lb lower than when winning at Thirsk (6f, good) 13 months ago.
Wore cheekpieces (absent here) for the first time when 27L last of 13 over this trip at Newcastle last October. Absent since and probably best watched on seasonal debut.
11 race maiden finished a fair fifth in a 5f handicap at Wolverhampton last month. Changed yards since and stamina to prove stepping up in distance.
Placed once from 12 starts and struggled in two outings since finishing 1L fourth over this trip at Wolverhampton in April. Others hold stronger claims on return to turf.
Dual winner off higher marks and finished a promising 1½L third in a 7f handicap at Southwell on seasonal and stable debut early last month. Return to this trip in his favour following a heavy defeat over 1m1f here six days ago.
