Craigsteel gelding comes here on a hat-trick of wins following success here last month before a facile victory at Tramore on good ground over 2m5½f. 17lb higher than first win but still a major contender.
Three from 19 over the larger obstacles landing a Kilbeggan contest over 2m4f in April. Manner of defeat at Tipperary and earlier this month at Wexford is of considerable concern.
Winner of three of his 27 starts over fences including over C&D but the veteran is now running 16lb lower than his last winning mark. Handicap mark continues to plummet but hard to be confident at present.
Has more recently been seen over hurdles running well in a number of frequent visits to the track. One from six over fences and finished second of nine when last seen chasing in March. Strong chance of hitting the frame.
Without success in six chase starts but showed a hint of ability in a Tramore handicap contest last month finishing fourth of 13 over 2m5½f. First-time cheekpieces could be the final part of the jigsaw to enable the Presenting mare get off the mark.
Ran well in defeat when finishing third of eight beaten 2½L in a Clonmel handicap chase earlier this month. Capable of a big run stepping up in trip if in the mood.
Popular veteran who has won five of his 63 starts over the larger obstacles. C&D winner, but the long-serving stalwart has failed to complete any of his last three starts including when returning to action at Punchestown last month.
Battle-hardened gelding who finished down the field on first start for new connections in a Tramore handicap chase last month. Not getting any younger and difficult to see him playing a part in this company.
14-race maiden includes a number of gloomy performances over the larger obstacles since chasing debut in February and a fall on latest start at Clonmel earlier this month. Tough to see where improvement is coming from to win this.
Below-par 85-rated handicap hurdler without a win in six chase starts and finished 13L adrift of Canadian Steel on most recent start here over 2m7½f. Unlikely to reverse the placings.
Lightly raced veteran, prolific in the point-to-point field winning seven of his 12 starts. Likely to find better handicapped sorts lurking.
By no means disgraced in a number of her races but is yet to hit the frame in 29 starts under rules, including 10 chase defeats. Hard to fancy on overall evidence and others hold sturdier claims in this event.

Although the Craigsteel gelding is now racing 17lb higher than his win here last month, CANADIAN STEEL is in a rich run of form and can land a hat-trick of victories with Conor Orr's 5lb claim to assist. The 10-year-old can hold off the potential challengers in the shape of the solid and consistent, Allduckornodinner, Clonmel third, Allied Victory and the Mick Winters-trained, Shes Flat Tothemat.
