Chasing the hat-trick after two comfortable wins; been raised another 9lb for a smooth performance at Ripon earlier this month and is up in trip, which complicates the matter; but he's still progressive enough to top the list of live contenders.
A close second at Haydock over this trip last time reads well and a 2lb rise looks fair at this stage. His proven stamina is a useful tool. Shortlisted.
Managed to get placed over an inadequate trip as a juvenile and possibly found 1m4f too far latest. Worth a betting check over this intermediate distance.
Well beaten in three starts last year but did show improvement over 1m2f last time. More to do now but on a reasonable mark and has scope now stamina is more of an issue.
Not much to take from her debut run for her current yard when she was brushed aside tamely at Hamilton late last month. Also has a stamina to question to answer over this new trip.
Little impact made in four previous starts, including on handicap debut last time. Been dropped 2lb since but still has a lot to find.
Has C&D experience and is 2lb lower than when placed here in May. Yard remains in good form but the predicted soft ground might not be ideal judging by previous runs with cut in the ground.
Mixed form so far and needs to improve a good deal to get off the mark over this new trip.
Has C&D experience but took a step backwards last time and comes here with a bit to find. On a career lowest mark but reflects that she's only shown a modicum of ability lately.

Cardano (5/4), Edmond Dantes (9/2), Queen's Soldier (9/2), Chinese Alphabet (6/1), Crimean Queen (12/1), Trelinney (16/1), Azets (25/1), Wall Of Sapphire (25/1), Antidote (25/1), My Lady Claire (33/1)
The progressive CARDANO is ahead of the handicapper and is likely to a tough nut to crack in his bid for a third straight win; Edmond Dantes and Chinese Alphabet look the pick of the modest opposition on this occasion. The betting can guide as to whether Queen's Soldier can be expected to post an improved effort now there's some cut in the ground.
- Cardano
- Edmond Dantes
- Chinese Alphabet
