Filly by Elzaam out of a Spectrum mare. Improved from first to second start at Navan last month finishing fourth of 10 beaten 4L. Capable of a bold bid if repeating last run.

Daughter of Choisir out of an Excellent Art mare. Dam, one raced, finished seventh of eight over 6f. Possibly best watched on debut for yard not renowned for Flat progeny.

Filly by Shamardal out of an Invincible Spirit mare. Finished fourth of 12 on debut in France for trainer Andre Fabre. Possibly a watching brief on debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise on stable debut.

Dark Angel colt, half-brother to 7f winner Grand Spirit. One of the more experienced in the field though remains a five-race maiden. One of the more intriguing contenders and likely to appreciate the drop in trip.

Bated Breath half-brother to smart 5f winner Oldjoesaid and 6f-7f winner Royal Normandy. Well held on both career starts to date and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.

Bungle Inthejungle gelding, cost 4,500 gns as a yearling and €36,000 as a Breeze-up purchase. Well beaten on both starts to date but improvement would no surprise for in form yard.

Gelding by Morpheus bought for €80,000 at the sales as a yearling. Well down the field on both career starts to date and others more appealing on the balance of seasonal debut at Limerick in April.
Bungle Inthejungle gelding out of a Verglas mare. Dam, seven-race maiden, placed over 7f. Best watched on debut unless the market suggests otherwise.

Lope De Vega colt, cost 90,000 gns as a foal and 70,000 gns as a yearling. Four-race maiden who struggled on sole start over this trip and makes little appeal on fifth start.

Colt by Exceed And Excel out of a Polar Falcon mare. Improved on second start finishing fifth of 10 beaten 4¾L in a Gowran Park 7f maiden earlier this month. Recent effort suggests plenty of improvement may be on the horizon.

Gelding by No Nay Never out of a Bering mare. Dam, twice-race maiden well beaten over 5f and 1m. Approached with caution given yard a one from 12 runners in the last 14 days.

A €37,000 foal, this Acclamation filly went on to fetch €105,000 as a yearling. Improved on second career start at Tipperary over 5f last month when beaten 4½L. Capable of a big run with step up in trip likely to bring out more improvement.

Daughter Dandy Man out of a Captain Rio mare. Sister to 5f winners Chiclet and Daisy Bell. Out-ran her odds when finishing second of 13 beaten a short-head at the Curragh last month at 66/1. Very interesting challenger in this contest.

Filly by Lilbourne Lad out of a Bertolini mare. Dam won on three occasions at 6f/7f on Polytrack. Worthy of a market check on debut.

Second Reserve: Oasis Dream filly who was purchased for €60,000 as a yearling. Closely related to a number of winners. Likely to improve on debut run at Gowran Park earlier this month.

Verdict

The drop in trip is sure to suit the Gordon Elliott-trained CLASHANISKA given his previous performances over this trip. The three-year-old can get off the mark at the sixth time of asking for connections at the expense of Limit Long who has been running well in defeat of late and Gowran Park eye-catcher Marwari for the Dermot Weld yard.
