Back in headgear, off a break and with a reduced mark to work with he returned to winning form at Haydock (still looked a hard ride). Suited by a relative test of stamina when following up over C&D; looks to complete a hat-trick off 6lb higher mark.
Looked better than ever when winning Staffordshire Plate (Uttoxeter, 3m) for the second year running (off same mark both times; 133). Fresh from a break and wind surgery last time he's bot been seen since; market will reveal expectations this time.
Took advantage of a weak race when last seen in winning form and has proved vulnerable off higher marks since that Bangor victory. Looked ring-rusty when last seen here a few weeks ago over a shorter trip; would need to show some progress.
Front-runner whose last win (perked up by a change of headgear) forced him up to a mark that he's found life hard off. Gets some minor handicapping respite here but was quickly brushed aside last time admittedly in a tougher grade; more needed.
