Mile Lingfield Polytrack winner on debut last autumn. May have needed the run when seeming to blow up over 1m3f in heavy ground on handicap bow recently and drop back to this trip makes sense. Bred to handle conditions off 2lb lower mark.

Placed in all four starts as a juvenile and ran well for a long way over a mile at Goodwood on handicap bow at Goodwood last month. Step up in trip not certain to suit but yard does well in this type of event and is respected.

Unexposed and well related Sea The Moon filly who has done well all three starts in novice stakes over a mile, only narrowly beaten last time at Windsor. May do better at this trip and should handle ground so big chance on handicap bow.

Kept on well when second over this trip at Doncaster last time on quickish ground. Runs off same mark and should be thereabouts if handling very different underfoot conditions.

250,000 guineas Lope De Vega filly who has shown ability on all three starts so far and was keeping on on turf bow at Windsor last time. Not overburdened on this handicap bow and is open to improvement.

Verdict

This is a very trappy affair in which a case cam be made for all six fillies. BIRDCAGE WALK is a marginal selection having gone close at Windsor last time. Her pedigree suggests she may be even better on this easy ground. Teodora De Vega runs in a handicap for the first time and is going the right way so could be a big danger, as too might top weight Ticklish who should be better for a recent pipe opener. Perfectimperfection did little wrong in defeat at Doncaster recently and is also very much in the mix.
  1. Birdcage Walk
  2. Teodora De Vega
  3. Ticklish
