Won decent Newmarket 6f nursery in 2017 but hasn't added to her total. Placed numerous times but seems to run out of puff closing stages over a mile and it may be more of the same. Decent apprentice claims useful 3lb.

Quirky old timer (in 2013 was runner-up in 2000 Guineas). Nowhere near the force of old but still went very close in this grade over C&D penultimate start. 2lb higher now and isn't the easiest to win with.

Placed 12-25 for Jane Chapple-Hyam but was frustratingly second on eight occasions without ever winning. Joined current yard prior to latest start when well backed but disappointed at Doncaster and appears an unlikely winner.

Won Irish 7f maiden as a juvenile for previous connections and has shaped with promise in both starts so far this term. Should be sharper for recent third at Ayr and runs off 1lb lower mark so looks worthy of serious consideration.

Frustrating 18-race maiden who has gone close on a number of occasions. Has fallen to lowest ever BHA mark and wasn't beaten far at all at Brighton seasonal reappearance.

One win and three places from four visits here and failed by only a head over C&D last time under today's rider. 1lb higher but sure to appeal to each-way punters.

Off the mark at the third time of asking for new yard at Redcar last time out, winning with a bit in hand off 61. Raised 7lb but may still be player if she's turned over a new leaf.

Forecast

Oud Metha Bridge (3/1), Outside Inside (4/1), Ambient (9/2), Verdigris (9/2), Hunni (5/1), Arigato (6/1), Glory Awaits (8/1), Fleeting Freedom (12/1), Bint Dandy (12/1), Channel Packet (12/1), Marilyn (16/1)

Verdict

OUTSIDE INSIDE is a marginal choice in a tricky mile handicap. The northern-trained filly shaped well enough last time to suggest her winning turn is not at all far away. Bint Dandy, Oud Metha Bridge and Marilyn all like it here and a big effort from any one of them would come as no surprise. Verdigris may give the selection most to do though after scoring a shade cosily at Redcar last time.
