Third on three occasions at up to 1m4f and pulled to hard for her own good on seasonal reappearance. Has tongue tied down this time and drops in class off 2lb lower mark.

Beautifully bred Dubawi filly but has disappointed so far, most recently when odds-on for handicap at Haydock and only fourth on seasonal return. May have needed the run and has been found another opportunity if she can step up to the plate.

Poor form first two starts last term and was gelded. Much better sole run since when third in Chelmsford 1m2f novice event in November. Makes debut for new yard and could be open to improvement going handicapping.

Modestly progressive in four starts to date. Has been slow to break last two starts finishing third on each occasion, staying on well last time here over a mile. Longer trip may suit and rider has fair 15% strike rate for trainer.

Yard won this race 12 months ago. Yet to reach a place in five starts , mainly at 7f. Worth a try over this longer trip being by Derby winner Pour Moi, and booking of good apprentice should help the cause.

Showed promise when runner-up on first two starts for Ralph Beckett before two less good efforts late last summer. Always behind when last of 11 at Newmarket on debut for new yard last month. Dropped 4lb but much more needed.

Very modest form in three starts last term for Jeremy Noseda. Probably needed the run on debut for new connections at Windsor over a mile. Eased 4lb, steps up in trip, and jockey has 19% strike rate for yard.

Poor form in first three starts for Charles Hills but has gradually been getting the hang of things at a low level for current handler and has finsihed third at Brighton last two starts, over this trip.

Very moderate overall profile. Fair third Wolverhampton penultimate start at around this trip but didn't back that up last time at Lingfield and doesn't look one to rely on.

Canford Cliffs filly who has shown very little in the way of worthwhile form in three starts so far in two novice stakes and a maiden. Makes handicap bow off a very low rating.

11-race maiden but has been third and fourth respectively on only previous tries at this trip, latterly run well enough at Chelmsford. Question over ability to handle turf though and needs to find plenty to trouble the judge.

Not much to shout about in five starts so far although did show a modicum of promise over a mile on Fibresand at Southwell in February. Absent since poor run over 1m4f at Newcastle in March.

Verdict

SWANSDOWN would be worth plenty as a broodmare if she can win a race and this modest handicap affords her another opportunity to register that elusive win for her top yard. No Trouble is open to improvement and should strip fitter for her seasonal return. Catch My Breath, Gennaro, and Sea Battle are others who may take a step forward, while Toro Dorado's only fair effort came on his sole previous attempt at this trip.
