Has raced almost exclusively on testing ground to date, winning over 1m (soft) at Windsor last October; sits plenty high enough in the weights with stamina over 1m6f far from guaranteed; vulnerable.
Appeared to have a promising future when turning over Rowland Ward in the High Rise novice at Pontefract (1m4f, good to firm) in April; fair to say that he hasn't quite progressed as well as expected since; ground concerns.
Camelot filly who was a comfortable 2L winner when upped in trip on fillies' handicap debut at Leicester (1m4f, good to firm) 16 days ago; 4lb higher meeting the 'boys' over an extra two furlongs; handles soft.
Sea The Moon gelding who has thrived since tackling this 1m6f trip (3-3); was doing all of his best work deep inside the final furlong when landing the hat-trick at Nottingham (good) last week; well-in under a 6lb penalty; has very strong claims.
Improving steadily with racing and again hit the frame at sizeable odds of 33/1 when beaten 2L by Lord Lamington on handicap debut at Sandown (1m6f, good to firm) 13 days ago; this race looks to be even more competitive.
Her Newcastle fourth (125/1) to Moonlight Spirit rates as rock-solid form; ditched Nathan Evans pre-race prior to an encouraging second placed finish on her belated seasonal reappearance at Redcar (1m2f); has plenty of stamina in her family line.
Short odds winner of a weak Newcastle maiden (1m4f) in March and finished a couple of places behind today's rival Tidal Point on his first attempt at this 1m6f trip at Sandown (good to firm) a fortnight ago; needs plenty more.
Forecasts
Moon King (11/10), Rochester House (6/1), Divine Gift (7/1), Seeusoon (7/1), Dorah (8/1), Tidal Point (10/1), No Dress Rehearsal (25/1)
MOON KING continues to go from strength to strength and quite simply should be backed until beaten. Never stronger than inside the final furlong at Nottingham, he appears to be thrown-in under a 6lb penalty. In terms of today's opponents, the likes of the filly Dorah and Tidal Point are both progressive individuals. However, the forecast option is the very-lightly raced No Dress Rehearsal. Her Newcastle November form (1m2f) has been given ample boosts since and as a half-sister to the 1m6f winner Elite Icon, Mick Easterby's filly could well be the type to thrive over longer trips in the weeks and months ahead.
