Seven-time winner, including over C&D (September 2017); 5lb higher than when beating Kyllachy Gala by 2½L in a soft ground Class 3 handicap at York (1m2f) last October; conditions are just about perfect.
Versatile in terms of ground conditions, albeit is generally most effective with cut; has risen in the weights for a couple of early season victories (Newbury and Newmarket); below par on his last couple of starts; others preferred.
Rattled off a hat-trick last season, the last leg of which was an emphatic beating of Exhort in a C&D fillies' handicap (heavy) in September; just 2lb higher and steadily working her way back to full match fitness; every chance.
Without a win since late 2017 (York) but admittedly has run plenty of solid races in defeat since, namely when a neck runner up in the 1m Seaton Delaval handicap at Newcastle last June; has fair form on soft (not heavy).
Both of his wins have come on good to soft (1m-1m4f) and he's still relatively low mileage in handicap company, 6lb above his last winning mark (Doncaster); should come on for his reappearance run at Hamilton 26 days ago (led and weakened).
Completed a hat-trick last autumn which included a 3L C&D win (good to soft); 5lb higher on return to turf following a couple of unsuccessful spins on the AW at Newcastle either side of the winter break.
In fine fettle when last competing on the Flat during October 2018; has made up into a reasonably talented hurdler since, winning off a mark of 120 at Fakenham (Silver Cup) in March 2019; conditions fine but handicap mark ever rising.
Frankel filly; 4lb higher than when winning by ½L on handicap debut at Sandown (1m2f, good to soft) last August; restless in the stalls when disappointing at Goodwood (1m4f) three weeks ago; her ability to handle testing ground is taken on trust.
Appreciates cut in the ground and sits just 2lb higher than when gamely winning over an extended 1m3f here (good to soft) in August 2017; off the track for 620 days and will require a mighty effort in order to win this race on return.
Returned to the Flat with an encouraging 3L fourth to the 40/1 shot Ghalib at Hamilton (1m1f, soft) last week; it's probable that he'll be finding a winning opportunity sooner or later but perhaps this is a shade too competitive.
2lb higher than when forging clear of Bid Adieu at Epsom (1m2f, soft) last August, and was on the premises (beaten just over 3L) on seasonal reappearance at Windsor (1m2f); couldn't be discounted with conditions seemingly favourable.

Thistimenextyear (4/1), Lorelina (4/1), Herculean (4/1), Finniston Farm (5/1), Hulcote (11/2), Lunar Jet (7/1), Dark Red (8/1), Morning Wonder (10/1), Awake My Soul (11/1), Daawy (12/1), Zzoro (16/1), Falmouth Light (20/1), Indy (40/1)
An intriguing Class 3 handicap in which the least exposed horse is the Roger Charlton-trained Frankel gelding Herculean who made an excellent start to life in handicaps at Doncaster (1m2f) last October and should prove capable of kicking on positively throughout 2019. Finniston Farm is hardy, adores this track and shouldn't be dismissed lightly, nor should the lowly-weighted Zzoro who could prove sharper for his recent Windsor comeback fourth. However, whilst also respecting the winning hurdler Thistimenextyear, the vote goes to the mare LORELINA who has a proven ability on heavy ground and is steadily working her way back to full match fitness.
- Lorelina
- Herculean
- Zzoro
