C&D winner who looked suited by a switch to this yard off the back of a break with cheekpieces returning last time. Showed then that he's one to keep on the right side and even under a penalty he still looks well weighted for his follow up bid.
Suited by a test such as this winning over 3m3f at Sedgefield in April (all his wins have come in March/April); disappointed straight after (suffered a breathing problem). Returns from a wind op which may help; handicapper may be in control.
Offered little when he returned from a spell between the flags over hurdles at Warwick last time (pulled up). Most recent win came in hunter chase which developed to his advantage; well weighted on old form hard to see him producing it.
Attention is now switched to handicaps having shown only modest form in bumpers and over hurdles so far; takes a marked step up in trip. Hard to judge what he may be capable of off a mark that looks workable; market to provide the best guide.
Multiple winning pointer (5-29) although he had failed to complete on his last five previous starts. Didn't look an obvious one when winning on stable debut over C&D (fences); now well weighted if he can repeat switched to hurdles.
Placed twice in point-to-points he's offered very little so far under Rules in a bumper and three novice hurdles. Now back from a break and going handicapping for the first time (in good hands); entitled to improve.
Has a significant absence to overcome having not been seen since 2015; made a winning bumper debut in the previous year. Record after that debut win wasn't that consistent; would be some training performance to produce him to win here.
Little or no show over hurdles when last seen under Rules at various trips but has since gone 3-24 in point-to-points. Arrives here on the back of a second and a win in that sphere but that does look modest form.
