Looked far from the finished article when landing a gamble on his belated racecourse debut (pulled hard; looked ill at ease around the bends) on the AW at Chelmsford (1m1f). Given a very different test/conditions; decent chance under a big weight.
Closely related to a family the yard know well and have won with it may be a while until we see the best of him. Refused to enter the stalls on his intended debut he was beaten 76L on his C&D debut (hooded); staying handicaps await in the future.
Far too free to di himself justice in bumpers he was still very keen on his Flat/AW debut in March over 1m2f. Given three months off there wasn't much improvement when he returned over C&D; needs this run for a mark and a handicap campaign.
Fairly useful maiden who managed to match his juvenile form on his handicap debut at Pontefract over 1m last time having failed to convince the time before. Needs to prove he can see a race out (weak finisher); looks exposed but not ruled out.
Made her debut for this yard last time having finished well beaten for Iain Jardine in a pair of bumpers and a hurdle. Ran to a modest level over C&D (slow away; raced off the pace) but did make some late headway; uncertain to build on that.
Well beaten in two Redcar maidens so far on markedly quicker ground than he will encounter here; looks the sort who is being brought along gradually. Not unduly punished when 100-1 last time; suspect it's all about obtaining a handicap mark for him.
Two starts so far separated by a five month break with little being shown that would make him a backable proposition in either race. Looks very much one for the longer term and a surprise if he could trouble the principals here.
Cheekpieces are now applied for the first time having been soundly beaten on her Chester debut over 1m2f having started at 100-1. Easily left behind on that initial start (beaten 27L); more needed here to get involved and that's unlikely to happen.
Bred to be useful (half-sister to several winners); produced a taking first effort despite inexperience getting the better of her at Haydock (1m) Gradually got the hang of things; ought to come on a great deal for this if conditions are favourable.

This wouldn’t be a strong heat with plenty of these looking to gain a mark that will allow then to compete in handicaps. Freerolling despite not handling the track last time landed a decent gamble and he’ll clearly be better suited by this test although underfoot conditions will be very different this time and he does have to give away lumps of weight. That weight allowance may just tip the scales in favour of REGAL LILY who showed her inexperience at Haydock but that form has taken a boost already and she is taken to get the better of her elders. Mount Ararat has proved a frustrating sort so far and is starting to look rather exposed in these sorts of events.
