Raced on the favoured side when the race split into two groups at Ripon last week but still did well to finish in the frame; interesting he's out so quickly and can go close again from the same mark.
Sterling effort to finish third in the Epsom Dash at the Derby meeting and is only 1lb higher tonight; still competitively weighted and well worth a betting check at least.
Suited by a fast run five furlongs and hinted at a return to form when third on the AW last month; needs to better his only previous visit to this course but the drop to the minimum trip can help.
Met trouble at Epsom last time but was already losing ground at the time; well handicapped in comparison to his last winning mark and his previous second at Goodwood entitles him to respect. Dangerous to underestimate.
Mixed form last season and needs to better the effort he showed on his return to action at Ascot in May; might also need softer ground.
Closely matched with Just Glamorous from their encounter at Goodwood in May and has gone close at Newmarket since. Can make the running and well handicapped on old form, so another who can play a strong role.

Forecasts
Ice Age (5/2), Tawny Port (7/2), Just Glamorous (4/1), Blue De Vega (9/2), Storm Over (7/1), Harry Hurricane (15/2), Just That Lord (8/1), Open Wide (14/1), Orvar (14/1)
A few of these met at the Derby meeting at Epsom, with Blue De Vega faring best of the bunch on that day. He can confirm the form with Open Wide, Just That Lord and Just Glamorous and might be worth a saver if the odds are attractive enough. However, HARRY HURRICANE has held his form well of late and, given his natural speed from the gates, he could be the better value option on this more conventional track. (The selection has run well over C&D twice before.)
- Harry Hurricane
- Blue De Vega
- Just That Lord
