Scored here over a mile as a juvenile and won over this trip at Doncaster last summer. Faced tough task in Group 3 event at Sandown on seasonal return but wasn't disgraced. Better back at this level and may not be far away with yard in decent form.

Dual scorer in France in 2016 and sole winner in this country came in 2017 Wolverhampton handicap off 101. Campaigned mainly on AW since at up to two miles and has decent form. Drop back in trip not sure to suit though.

Third to talented Defoe in Group 3 over this trip last April reads well but has been inconsistent in handicaps and listed races since. Usually goes well at Epsom so disapointing to see him soundly beaten there last time out.

2018 Chesham Stakes winner did even better when second to Too Darn Hot in Group 3 Solario Stakes and fine fourth in Breeders' Cup Juvenile last November. Struggled in good company so far this term, well in on BHA ratings but has he trained on?

Good fourth to classy Dark Vision in Group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood last season and solid second in hot conditions race at Kempton in March on reappearance. Handles easy ground so has decent chance if things go his way.

Forecasts

Arthur Kitt (6/4), Bombyx (7/4), Getchagetchagetcha (4/1), What About Carlo (8/1), Cohesion (33/1)

Verdict

If Arthur Kitt returns to anything close to his fine juvenile form he would be a good thing at these weights, but he has yet to prove he is as good as last year. He may well win, but at likley odds GETCHAGETCHAGETCHA could be the value after too solid runs this term. He was also a very decent sort last year. Of the three older horses Bombyx may do best for a yard running into form, with both Cohesion and What About Carlo having questions to answer at present.
  1. Getchagetchagetcha
  2. Arthur Kitt
  3. Bombyx
