Seeking hat-trick after wins both at Ayr and here over C&D on good ground. Up 12lb for those, but potentially still well in, and makes the short-list.
Handles plenty of cut and is proven at up to 2m6f, but not beyond that yet. Has had win surgery since his last run, and still has time on his side, but this is tough enough.
Scored over2m4f at Leicester (good; first-time cheekpieces) in February, when 7lb lower. Has run well in all starts since, including in Listed C&D chase latest. Acts on soft. Short-listed.
Best on good ground, and the forecast slower conditions are a concern. Scored over C&D latest, for which he has gone up 8lb. More to do.
Decent chaser who won last year's Cork National (3m4f, yld). Has largely been in the grip of the handicapper since then. Could still be competitive from this mark, but needs to raise his game.
Acts with cut and goes well here, having won twice over 2m4f while chasing at the track. 1lb higher than another good run at Aintree latest, and if he stays this trip, he has claims.
Goes on any ground and stays 3m, over which he won easily at Market Rasen last month. Ran well again under a penalty last time. Up another 2lb, so more needed, but tongue-tie could help. Not ruled out.
Back to form on his first run post-wind surgery when scoring in a three-runner race at Ludlow last time (3m, good). Up 3lb for that career best, but could kick on again. Acts on soft. Thereabouts.
Acts on soft. Kept on well to win by 6L over C&D in a novices' handicap chase in April. 9lb higher today and in a better race, so more needed.
Pulled up when a 16-1 shot in the Scottish National last time, having gone into that on the back of wins at Kelso (2m7f) and Doncaster (3m2f). Entitled to plenty of respect back over this trip.

Forecasts
Cresswell Legend (9/2), Van Gogh Du Granit (11/2), Get Out The Gate (11/2), Red Giant (11/2), Out Sam (6/1), Got Away (6/1), Indian Temple (7/1), Psychedelic Rock (10/1), Dragon D'Estruval (12/1), Chidswell (16/1), Traditional Dancer (20/1), Henllan Harri (20/1)
Plenty of chances here, including Chidswell, who looks to have claims back over this trip, Cresswell Legend, Van Gogh Du Granit and Indian Temple. Psychedelic Rock and Got Away are others to consider, though the suggestion is GET OUT THE GATE, who may still be ahead of the handicapper.
- Get Out The Gate
- Chidswell
- Got Away
