Useful performer, largely over hurdles, since joining this trainer. Decent claims now back in this grade under a penalty, with conditions/trip no problem.
Has been going off at increasing prices, and meeting with increasing margins of defeat. Can only watch.
Half-brother to Flat winners over 6f and 1m2f/1m4f, out of a 1m4f winner, who also won over hurdles (2m/2m1f). Tongue-tied for debut, and probably one to watch.
Well placed to win 4-6 so far, all on good ground. Most recent of those was her hurdles debut at Tipperary, when she was not fluent at times. Nonetheless, open to improvement and has claims.
Well held in all starts so far, and impossible to recommend on what we have seen.
25-1 and well held on debut at Ayr last month. Can only watch after that.
Soft ground Carlisle winner (2m1f) in a bumper last year. Held in both hurdles runs, but the latest was a step in the right direction, and she is one of the more likely contenders here.
Pulled up in both point runs and impossible to recommend after that on her rules debut.
Second foal. Dam unraced half-sister to French Flat winners Romix (1m2f-1m4f), Storma (1m/1m3f) and Romare (1m1f-1m4f). Stable not noted for debut winners, but check market.
Unseated in sole point-to-point run and well held on hurdles debut at Hexham last month. Longer trip will suit better, but we need to see more.
Forecasts
Carrie Des Champs (2/5), Bialco (10/3), Lily's Gem (9/2), Falkland Castle (20/1), Island Mahee (50/1), Refer To Rory (50/1), Phoebes Saga (50/1), Miss Lanefox (66/1), Lastofthecosmics (66/1), Cons Amigo (200/1)
Gordon Elliott (2015) and Stuart Crawford (2017) have both saddled previous winners of this race and are represented by Carrie Des Champs and Lily's Gem respectively here. Neither would be surprise winners, but the solid form of BIALCO suggests that he can defy a penalty at this level. Little else makes much appeal.
