Useful fast ground form last summer and back to best when just touched off at Windsor last week. Forecast rain could be a concern though as only run in the past on good to soft was a below par effort.
C&D winner last summer and again showed his liking for cut in the ground when second in better race at Ascot on penultimate start though may have raced on the favoured side of the track that day.
Just behind Vegas Boy at Ascot when both raced on the best part of the course. That confirmed his liking for soft ground and with the plum draw here makes plenty of appeal.
Restless in stalls last time so that can be forgiven. Yet to race on softer than good so bit to prove on likely ground and yard having quiet spell.
Struggling badly for from of late including defeat in a claimer last month. though has plenty of soft ground form and has been dropped 24lb in the past year if he can ever recapture his best.
One piece of form at Newmarket at this trip a year ago which would make him of interest but struggling of late and hard to know what to expect at present.
