Now 17lb higher than when beating Alto Des Mottes by a neck over C&D on his penultimate start (good); upped the ante by following up in a seamless fashion at Hexham (also 3m good); seeks a hat-trick with the forecast rain the main concern.
Flat bred maiden hurdler (0-7) who rates as an unlikely type to make a staying chaser; easy to overlook despite the fact he remains with the much respected Venetia Williams.
Well bred (half-sister to the smart staying chaser Shotgun Paddy); cost £115,000 out of the Irish PTP scene; low-key under rules (hurdles) so far (0-3); should do better with more time over fences.
Comfortably beaten when finishing second of the three to finish at Fakenham (2m5f) in March; was struggling from an early stage when pulled up at Ffos Las (3m, soft) latest; blinkers go on - hardly a ringing endorsement.
Placed on three occasions over fences at Uttoxeter (2m-2m6½f), including when finishing 9L third to Day Of Roses latest; admirably consistent, although a career record of 1-29 probably tells it's own tale.
Old-stager who continues to pursue an elusive first success under rules (10-26 in PTP's); beaten ½L by Riddlestown at Plumpton (3m1f, good) on his most recent start.
Just held when beaten a neck by Maureen's Star at Perth (3m novices' handicap hurdle) in July 2018; disappointing since returning form wind surgery (often prominent in the betting); 0-2 over fences.

Damut I'm Out was a shock winner over fences at Bangor earlier in the week, for which he incurs a mandatory 7lb penalty. However, the hat-trick seeking C&D winner FOR JIM is clearly on a rapid upward trajectory over fences and should prove capable of going in again despite the poor weather forecast tempering enthusiasm just a fraction. Should an absolute deluge arrive prior to racing, it wouldn't come as a total surprise if he didn't take his chance, in which case Miss Batten would be a much more speculative shout.
