Second of 18 beaten 1¾L on a promising hurdling debut at Tipperary last month, but the run has been surrounded by a number of below-par efforts in Bumpers since December. Needs a couple to falter.
Improved for the drop in trip when finishing third of 18 at Cork last month on her second bumper start. Capable of a big run in first-time hood.
Daughter of Getaway out of a Sadlers's Wells mare. Half-sister to 2m -2m5f Flat and hurdle winner between 2m3f and 2m6f Rubenesque. Not ruled out with yard having a winner and a second from two bumper runners in the last 14 days.
Brings a run of dispiriting point-to-point form to the table for rules debut. Pulled up on latest start on Sunday and hard to place any faith in here.
Daughter of Presenting out of a mare who ran twice on the Flat. Nothing of note in a couple of bumper starts to date and was sent off at odds of 66/1 on her latest start at Clonmel last month. Probably best watched for now.
Daughter by Gold Well out of a Kahyasi mare. Closely related to point-to-point winner, Buck Dancing and half-sister to bumper winner Our Pollyanna. First bumper runner this term for yard.
Filly by Stowaway out of a Definite Article mare. Dam 2m5f hurdle winner, half-sister to useful 1m-1m4f Flat/2m hurdle winner Dawn Invasion out of 7f winner. Will look to improve on promising debut run at Clonmel last month.
Half-sister to very smart hurdler Cross Kennon and smart chaser Sumos Novios. Won only completed start in a point-to-point contest. Second of nine on bumper debut at Tipperary last month and likely to be a warm order here.
Robin Des Champs filly out of a Flemensfirth mare. Encouraging second of 10 beaten 9L behind Bigbadandbeautiful in a Clonmel bumper last month. Likable type who should be in the mix.
Filly by Yeats out of a Posidonas mare. Sister to Largy Mountain who was placed in bumpers and point-to-point contests. Best watched given the yard are one from 35 in the new season.
Finsceal Fior filly out of a Distorted Humor mare. Dam won over 1m. Yards debutantes' often need their first run.
Forecasts
Domitian (1/1), Eva's Diva (4/1), Boro Tari (5/1), Hill Of Truth (6/1), Blue Heather (10/1), Glint In Her Eye (25/1), Hophornbeam (33/1), Well Polly (33/1), Seo Sceal Eile (40/1), Coosan Clover (50/1), Fair Ella (100/1)
One of the top bumper combinations of trainer, Gordon Elliott and jockey, Lisa O'Neill can land the spoils in the closing contest of the meeting with the Getaway filly, DOMITIAN who will be expected to improve on her promising debut at Tipperary last month. The four-year-old can get the better of the Clonmel second, Hill Of Truth for trainer Charles Byrnes and the Henry De Bromhead trained, Boro Tari in first time hood. Declan Queally's, Eva's Diva is worthy of a market check with the yard sending out a winner and a second from two bumper runners in the last 14 days.
- Domitian
- Hill Of Truth
- Boro Tari
