One from three in the point-to-point ranks and a useful 113-rated novice hurdler. Running adequately in his first couple of chase starts and will more than likely appreciate the drop in trip here.

4/1
Distance winner of an Ayr handicap hurdle in April. Finished ahead of stablemate Eviscerating in a Kilbeggan beginners contest over 2m4f last month finishing second of 12 on chasing debut. Another bold show looks likely.

11/1
Beaten favourite last time out in a Tramore 2m maiden hurdle last month finishing over 6L adrift of the winner. Possibly best watched on chasing introduction unless the market suggests otherwise.
Did not show anything in a number of bumper and hurdle starts before a couple of inconclusive runs over the larger obstacles recently. Needs to show significant improvement in this company.

Without success in 10 starts over fences but produced a career best at Wexford last month finishing second of eight, beaten 5L behind Perfect Leader over 2m. Further place claims if in the mood.

Ran well for a long way on chasing introduction, eventually fading before two out to finish fifth of 15 beaten over 19L at Ballinrobe last month. Not one to totally leave out of calculations.

The Irregularp21
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: A Ring| T: D Hogan| OR:  115| C| D
10/1
Experienced maiden over the larger obstacles who looked in with a chance of getting off the mark at the ninth attempt but for a mistake at the last and unseating rider at Kilbeggan last month. Could be capable of having his say.
9
Horse silk
50/1
Modest form in six starts over hurdles and first time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role on chasing debut.
Nothing of note in a couple of point-to-point starts and three innocuous maiden hurdle efforts since April. Sent off at 66/1 on latest start and probably best watched for now.

100/1
Appeared overwhelmed when well beaten in three career hurdle starts to date, including when last seen over 12 months ago. Looks opposable on chasing introduction.
12
Horse silk
2/1
Winner of a Sligo maiden hurdle 11 months ago but subsequently beaten in four starts. Fell on return to action over hurdles last month and market likely to be the best guide to expectations on chasing debut.

Cotton Jenny26
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: Sean O'Keeffe(7)| T: B Jordan| OR:  112| D
12/1
Experienced 11-race chaser who has been beaten a long way in a couple of starts since returning to action in April including on first start since leaving the Evan Williams last month. Needs a couple to falter.
Failed to build on a promising debut over fences when making no impression in a Tramore beginners contest on good ground last month. More negatives than positives here.

Cool Colonnade (2/1), From Eden (4/1), Eviscerating (4/1), Serious Ego (5/1), The Irregular (10/1), Roney (10/1), Generalisation (11/1), Cotton Jenny (12/1), My Manekineko (14/1), Song Of The Sky (16/1), Roachdale House (20/1), Hilltop Supreme (50/1), The Longest Time (50/1), Ballymac Boy (66/1), Bombay Basil (100/1)

Verdict

The Gordon Elliott-trained, FROM EDEN is given the nod ahead of stablemate Serious Ego here who makes his chasing debut. The six-year-old can get off the mark at the second attempt following a solid chasing debut at Kilbeggan last month. In a wide open contest Denis Hogan's, The Irregular, the Gigginstown House Stud representative, Eviscerating and Cool Colonnade for the Willie Mullins yard are all worthy of consideration. My Manekineko and Roachdale House look more than capable of going well at big prices.
