Useful sort over hurdles his first two chasing starts saw him presented with stiff tasks (handicap mark looks a touch high). Attracted support given his easiest chasing task last time but failed that test comprehensively; something to prove now.
Yet to win a race over hurdles or fences (0-20) and although he looks well treated on his hurdles form over fences he remains a precarious proposition. Well held at Auteuil last time he did at least complete; FUF three previous chase starts.
Chasing newcomer who having shown some useful bumper form in Ireland and made a winning hurdles debut for this yard has found life tough since then. Well below form when last seen; stamina also in doubt over this 2m5f trip.
Yet to reach the level of performance that he did when with Neil King; his Worcester hurdles win coming off this same mark (weak/dubious form). Plenty to prove based on his three starts for this yard (also had wind op); makes second chase start.
Tough task on his one chasing start so far (race has worked out well) but didn't show enough encouragement to make him a worthy proposition here. Returned over hurdles from a break last time but overall his form isn't strong enough of late.
Yet to match the form he showed in his one hurdles win over fences although his two most recent starts have shown some enough to suggest he should be respected. No chance with a big improver last time, handicapper continues to relent.

Max Do Brazil (11/8), Jaunty Flyer (5/2), Schnabel (3/1), Lord Du Mesnil (7/2), Broughtons Rhythm (5/1), First Figaro (5/1), Chimes Of Dylan (10/1)
A race where solid profiles are hard to come by and BROUGHTONS RHYTHM is given a chance off a mark 5lb lower than his winning hurdles mark to go one better than in his last two starts over fences. First Figaro and Schnabel are both well weighted on the best of their hurdles form although neither have convinced of late and the trip isn’t sure to suit the first of that duo. Jaunty Flyer has shown promise when set stiff tasks on his first two chasing starts so perhaps he should be forgiven a moribund effort last time (reportedly lost his action) given an easier task here.
