Winner between the flags in October but no signs of promise in a number of chase starts before pulling up after the second last when tailed off a Tipperary on hurdling debut last month.
Well held in four dismal starts over hurdles so far including a 37L reversal at Tramore when last seen in April. May find this a tough assignment.
Seven-race maiden hurdler who has shown little in the way of enthusiasm in a number of starts under both codes since the turn of the year. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Has looked moderate in point-to-points, bumpers and five starts over hurdles. Difficult to make a case for and very little to be positive about.
Pulled up on hurdling debut at Cork over 12 months ago. Has shown little aptitude in her three latest point-to-point contests since December and unlikely to be playing a part in the finish here in first-time visor.
Nothing of note in three career starts to date including finishing 11th of 19 in a Cork maiden hurdle when last seen in April. On balance, has plenty to find in this contest.
Has made nine starts over timber without threatening. Fifth of 10 beaten 18L on latest start in March in a Cork maiden hurdle over 2m2½f. Others appear to have more scope for improvement.
Has produced a couple of encouraging runs together at Clonmel and Wexford in recent months and repeat of that form should see her in the hunt for more prize money.
Not much to shout about in a couple of bumper starts before a desolate effort on hurdling debut at Navan in March, eventually beaten 114L. Is hard to enthuse over in this company.
Unable to halt dismal run of form in maiden and handicap hurdle starts since the turn of the year. Still looking no nearer to a breakthrough success.
Generally running well in defeat in a number of maiden hurdle starts to date bar a slight hiccup at Limerick last month. Likely to go well in first-time cheekpieces and should be among the leading players.
Failed to figure in a bumper and four maiden hurdle starts before suffering a 12L reversal on handicap debut at Tramore last month. Hasn't shown enough to be of interest here.
Three-race maiden, not disgraced on maiden hurdle debut at Killarney last month. In a rickety looking renewal the daughter of Doyen is entitled to make the shortlist.
Forecasts
Wetbehindtheears (3/1), Peterstown (7/2), Midnight Surprise (4/1), Minx Tiara (11/2), Ainmisfearr (7/1), Each Way (8/1), Belle West (14/1), Caddy Shack (20/1), Georgia Grace (33/1), Ok Jk (40/1), An Rinceoir Alainn (40/1), Don't Tell Mom (40/1), Ask Your Mother (50/1)
MIDNIGHT SURPRISE has been running well in defeat in a couple of starts since returning to the fold in March and can continue her improvement here. The eight-year-old can hold off the potential challenge from Wetbehindtheears in first-time cheekpieces and progressive type, Minx Tiara who can build on a solid maiden hurdle debut at Killarney last month.
