Has done next to nothing wrong in five career starts, almost possessing the perfect record (4-5). Taking performance when dotting up on Flat debut at Musselburgh (1m4f; good to firm). Hard task to give weight away all round but can't be ruled out.
Been sent off at 80/1 and 66/1 in two novice races and has ran accordingly. This is a better contest than both of those assignments and he can't be fancied on what he has shown to date.
Won at the fourth attempt in bumpers in April at Market Rasen (2m; good). Not been too competitive in two runs on the Flat finishing down the field on both occasions. Must run in another maiden before going for a handicap so best watched tonight.
Third behind the talented Telecaster on debut at Windsor. Off the mark at Chester (1m2f; good to soft) last time when coming from off the pace to win in good style. Smacked of a strong stayer then and this track should be more to his liking.
Made a highly-promising start to life when third on debut at Newbury (1m2f; good). Winner looked pretty useful that day and he is a huge player in this field receiving weight from all his main rivals.
Very interesting debutante who cost 125,000gns as a yearling. By Australia and closely related to the likes of crack Ballydoyle stayer Order Of St George. Likely to improve bundles for whatever he does tonight, but is a genuine player nevertheless.
Very hard to fancy in any form after a lacklustre debut effort when tailed off at Carlisle (1m1f; soft). Readily opposed.
Could never land a blow on debut at Salisbury (1m; good to firm). That was a decent race and she was sent off at 50-1. This is slightly less competitive but must have improved a great deal from that debut run.
Well beaten at Thirsk (7f; good) on debut in what was a fairly modest maiden. Moves up a fair bit in trip to 1m2f which should be more suitable for her, but still has a lot to prove if she is to be involved.
Made an underwhelming debut for one so well-bred when finishing last of 13 at Nottingham (1m; soft). Faces vastly different conditions tonight (forecast good to firm ground) but could sneak a place if she has improved.
Lesser fancied of the two Ralph Beckett runners in this after finishing down the field in a couple of novice races. Likely final run in this grade before moving into handicaps where she should have something to offer.
Forecasts
Future Investment (11/8), Dubai Tradition (7/4), Alright Sunshine (7/2), Grenadier Guard (14/1), Marmarr (14/1), Philonikia (33/1), Canoodling (66/1), Stormin Norman (66/1), Hasili Filly (80/1), Thornton Le Clay (100/1), Reedway (200/1)
Despite having to give weight away all round which won't be easy, Alright Sunshine is greatly feared in his bid to make it five wins from six career starts. He won't go down without a fight and could be a genuine contender in a race like the Northumberland Plate by the end of the month. However, tonight could be the night for DUBAI TRADITION who was third behind the exciting Logician on debut at Newbury. In receipt of weight from his main rivals, he should be good enough to win this. Grenadier Guard is the unknown quantity in the pack and could be a future star. He can get his career off to a promising start by running a promising race in third.
