Cost €6,000 as a foal, price rising to £44,000 as a 3yo. Bred to have some speed about him and yard have a 15% strike rate with their bumper horses here.
€20,000 as a foal, bred to make a chaser in time but put in a perfectly solid introduction when third at Warwick a fortnight ago. That makes him the form pick, and he should go close if repeating it.
Purchased for €11,000 as a 3yo; and is a sister to useful hurdle/chase winner Surf Instructor. Placed in a point-to-point last December, not seen since, and might find this too sharp a test on debut.
Fourth foal, and a half-sister to bumper/hurdle winner Fountains Flypast. Pulled up in a point-to-point but yard know the time of day in bumpers (1-4 here) and worth a look in the market.
Half-sister to the yard's winning hurdler At First Light, but showed little on debut here in April and although this longer trip will suit, makes little appeal all the same.
Forecasts
Felix D'autry (1/1), Twasn't The Plan (5/2), Saintbury Lady (7/2), Corrie Lake (12/1), The Lion Queen (20/1)
As ever, the market will prove useful as to the chance of Felix D'Autry and Saintbury Lady, but TWASN'T THE PLAN sets a decent standard and can put his experience to good use.
