Second to the useful Buildmeupbuttercup in a bumper back in 2017 but all downhill since then and hard to see where this opening mark comes from, based on some moderate efforts in novice hurdles. Others readily preferred.
Has been plying her trade on the Flat, winning a moderate event at Bath last month but couldn't follow that up at Yarmouth last time when a short-priced favourite. Clearly not one for maximum faith but chances back hurdling today.
Better effort at Stratford last time but it was in selling grade, and it was a worry she couldn't finish the job off after leading at the last. Bottom line is she's still a maiden after 18 starts and as such, others make more appeal.
Finished just ahead of Yamuna River at Stratford and although that's not strong form, it at least shows she comes here in decent heart. A record of one win in 42 starts is more than enough to make you look elsewhere for the winner, though.
Nicely backed at Huntingdon last time and duly ran a better race, finishing second to a well handicapped one. Repeat of that ought to see her on the premises, and with no problems with trip or ground, looks one of the more likely ones.
One win in 22 starts under Rules, that coming at Chepstow last October, and although a couple of her efforts this spring aren't dreadful, it may be that the places are the best she can hope for.
Forecasts
Top Rock Talula (7/5), Musical Stardust (10/3), Yamuna River (6/1), Shadow's Girl (13/2), Cold Fusion (9/1), Cassis De Reine (12/1)
Top Rock Talula might put in a better effort back over obstacles, but she's not one to be putting your last fiver on, and if MUSICAL STARDUST can take a small step forward from her Huntingdon effort, that might well be good enough here. Shadow's Girl and Cold Fusion can fight it out for third.
