Very hard to get away from the fact that Sir Michael Stoute has a top class record with his runners at Thirsk and he looks to have found an ideal opportunity for DAVYDENKO to build on his Windsor win last time when he powered home over this trip to win going away and with something in hand. Irv looks the obvious danger but he’s still searching for his first win and unless the favourite flops that’s unlikely to come here. Most of the others will be striving for a handicap mark with Summer Bride and the newcomer Spiritual Command in competition for the minor place berth.
